About the Series

Where coursework becomes scholarship

Institutional Student SeriesC.A.S.E. - the Class Assignment Series · Edition - is a bi-monthly student-edition scholarly series published by the Centre for Fintech and Strategic Business Research.

Every semester, exceptional undergraduate assignments are written, graded, and forgotten. C.A.S.E. exists so that the best of them are not. The series captures end-of-semester work across fintech, strategy, analytics, and applied business research - and gives it a permanent, citable home.

Every accepted piece is reviewed by a faculty-led editorial board, paired with an ORCID iD, registered with a permanent Crossref DOI under prefix 10.67226, and hosted open access on PubPub under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Students leave each issue with a citable artifact for a CV, a graduate application, or a personal site.

How it works

The C.A.S.E. workflow

Editorial clarity, centralised ingestion. The series owns its branding and hosting; CFSBR runs the metadata pipeline and Crossref deposit.

  1. 01
    Step One
    Internal Screening

The editorial team reviews the draft; a faculty advisor signs the approval letter.

  2. 02
    Step Two
    Frontend Deployment

The issue landing page goes live on the C.A.S.E. front-end before archive release.

  3. 03
    Step Three
    Metadata Collection

Title, authors, ORCID, abstract, and references are packaged for ingestion.

  4. 04
    Step Four
    Central Audit

CFSBR validates metadata, runs the deposit build, and queues for Crossref.

  5. 05
    Step Five
    DOI Activation

A permanent DOI is registered and resolves to the PubPub archive record.
